Biosecurity

We each have a responsibility to protect our environment and resources by limiting the spread of marine pests. We’re actively working on biosecurity management with other Wellington marinas and the Top of the South group. Mana Marina doesn’t have any fanworm and we intend to keep it that way.

ARRIVING VESSEL REQUIREMENTS
Prior to arriving at Mana, you must provide evidence that:

The vessel has been antifouled within six months prior to arrival, OR, the vessel has been lifted and cleaned within ONE month prior to arrival

WELLINGTON REGION

Please note that all four marinas in Wellington — Seaview, Chaffers, Mana & Evans Bay — operate with the above “6 or 1 rule”. The same requirements apply to visit a marina in Marlborough Sounds and the top of the South Island. Please click on the button below for more information about this.

Contact Mana Cruising Club to book your vessel in for a quick slip and clean.

Rubbish + Recycling

Please use our recycling stations — located at the north and south ends of our carpark. We also provide waste oil disposal at the north rubbish station. NB The skip bins provided are for Marina rubbish only. Fines will be issued to those caught dumping house-hold items and rubbish that has come from outside of the Marina.

We’re committed to reducing waste

This year, we pledged to the Marina Industries Association to say no to single use plastics in the Marina and are always open to new ideas on how to do things better for the environment and protect our oceans. Watch this space!
